TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using the online booking systems (including forms on our website, Eventbrite and Facebook) to attend or participate in our events or classes  regardless of whether it is in-person, virtual or video conferencing event, you are deemed to have agreed to the following terms and conditions. 

​GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Rhythm of Life Co. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or "we/us/our") reserves the right to make changes to the contents and schedule our events and classes regardless of whether it is in-person, virtual or otherwise (the "Activity") at any time without notifying participants and students as well as their parents, guardians, and associates  (the "Participants" or "you/your").

  2. We reserves the right to decline any registration and/or to refuse entry or to remove any of the Participants from the Activities without giving a reason. 

  3. We reserves the right to refuse entry or to remove people from the Activities without giving a reason.

  4. By submitting form(s) on our website, you will be added to our mailing list so we can update you on future activities. You may unsubscribe any time. We will not share your personal data with any third party for any reason.

CONSENT, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY 

  1. The Participants acknowledge the nature of the Company's business and its needs to train staff, evaluate and monitor their service quality, to provide references to clients, and to develop and promote their work in order to be sustainable in the market. Therefore, by registering for the Activities, all Participants, their associates, parents and/or guardians, unless otherwise specifically stated in writing to the Company, give consent to the Company the use of their images, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and audio recordings (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Images") of the participants in all formats and settings, for staff training, development, evaluation, quality assurance, clients reference, marketing and promotional purposes by the Company, its affiliates and associates in all formats.

  2. You release the Company, its affiliates, and each and all persons involved in our Activities from any liability relative to the publication and dissemination of Images of you, your child, employees, colleagues and associates.

  3. You release the Company, its affiliates and all persons involved in our Activities from any liability related to any injury, accidents, illness, death, loss or damages of your personal belongings that happen before, during and after the Activities. Your well-being and  safety are your own responsibility. You must perform within your physical abilities and participate in activities that you are able to follow and perform only. Parents, care-givers, and other adult members must watch and look after their children at all the time. 

  4. You fully understand that your consent is given as a condition and pre-requisite to your attendance and participation at every and all of our Activities of all kinds of formats.

 

NOTES TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS

  1. Registration will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis, and will only be confirmed and accepted on receipt of your payment. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent by email within 3 days of receipt of the online registration form. 

  2. The registration reserves your child’s place but is not confirmed until payment is received and email confirmation has been sent by the Company. If the class is full, you will automatically be placed in a waiting list and the Company will contact you when a seat becomes available. 

  3. If a class doesn't fill up to its minimum number of students, the class will be cancelled and you will get a full refund.

  4. Once registered, requests to withdraw your child should be made in writing and will be subject to an administration fee. For our Summer Programmes, the withdrawal notice must be given 7 days in advance of the first day of the course.

  5. Please note that classes are held in English.

  6. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that pose threats to health and safety such as a pandemic or disruption by civil unrest, the Company reserves the right to provide online classes and/or other alternative programmes. If this situation arises, we will keep in regular contact with you by email. The term or programme will continue for the full length that it was previously advertised but in this new format. There will be no refunds, credit notes or transfer of fees in this situation.  Should the government inform us that we are unable to run the activities, then all activities will go online for the full length which was previously advertised but in this new format.

  7. All classes will be cancelled in the event of Typhoon Signal 8 or higher, or black rain warning if hoisted at 8am for morning classes (normal start time 10am) and 12noon for afternoon classes (normal start time 2pm - 4pm) and 2pm for evening classes. For groups that run within school premises, we are obliged to follow their specific policies and will update you as needed by email. No refunds, make up classes or credit notes will be made in the event of cancelled classes due to weather.

  8. In case of forced government closure due to COVID-19 or otherwise, the Company reserves the right to provide online classes and/or other alternative programmes. If this situation arises, we will keep in regular contact with you by email. The term or course will continue for the full length that it was previously advertised but in this new format. There will be no refunds, credit notes or transfer of fees in this situation.

  9. Should the government inform us that we are unable to run workshops due to an outbreak of COVID-19, then all workshops will go online and carry on for the full length that it was previously advertised but in this new format:
