TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using our online booking systems—including, but not limited to, forms on our website, email bookings, or ticketing platforms such as Eventbrite, Facebook, Art-mate, or others—to attend or participate in any of our events, programmes, trainings, or classes, whether held in person, virtually, or via video conferencing, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be updated or revised periodically without prior notice.

[A] TRAINING EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To the facilitation training participants, please note:
In addition to the Training Event-specific terms outlined below, the General Terms and Conditions (Section [B]), Consent, Waiver and Release of Liability (Section [C]), Discount Coupons/Vouchers (Section [D]), Loss/Damage of Musical Instruments (Section [E]), and all other applicable sections also govern this event. By registering and participating, you agree to comply with all terms set forth throughout this page. You fully understand that your consent to all the terms on this page is given as a condition and prerequisite to your attendance and participation at every and all of our Activities of all kinds of formats. Please contact us if you have any questions or need further clarification.

To the facilitation training participants from overseas, please note:

Please do not book non-refundable or non-changeable flights or hotel before 24 September 2025. The Drum Circle Facilitation Training is scheduled for 24–26 October 2025; however, the final decision will be made around 23 September based on registrations. Thank you for your understanding.

  1. Weather
If Typhoon Signal 8 or higher, a Black Rainstorm Warning or any other special order by the Government is announced, in-person training will be cancelled for that day. No refunds will be given for missed days unless the entire event is cancelled.

  2. Changes
The training programme, schedule, trainer, and venue may change without prior notice. We will inform you of important changes as soon as possible.

  3. Recording
Video recording of the training is not allowed except during "Jump-In Time," when participants facilitate drum circles, and when trainers give explicit permission. Audio recording is allowed.

  4. Communication
You are responsible for checking emails regularly. All important updates will be sent via email. Please add info@drum-jam.com to your safe sender list.

  5. Trainers
The training will be led by the scheduled trainers. If a trainer is absent due to unforeseen circumstances, the programme will continue with the remaining trainer and/or a substitute trainer.

  6. Participation
Participants take part voluntarily and are responsible for their own safety. You must only engage in activities within your physical ability and comfort.

  7. Cancellation & Refunds
    7.1 Cancellation Notice
You may cancel your registration by providing written notice to us at least 7 days before the start of the training (i.e., cancellations received on or before 17 October 2025). Cancellations made after this time are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person by contacting us.

    7.2 Refund Policy
Except as stated under Clause 1 (Weather), no refunds will be given for missed sessions or late cancellations. If the Company cancels the entire event for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible and refunded the full ticket price minus Eventbrite’s non-refundable service and processing fees (about 5.99%), where applicable.

    7.3 Refund Amount and Fees
The ticket price you pay includes Eventbrite’s service and processing fees, which are non-refundable. Therefore, refunds will be issued for the ticket price paid minus these non-refundable fees as required by Eventbrite’s payment policies. In short, refunds will be for the ticket price you paid minus Eventbrite’s non-refundable fees (about 5.99%), so the refunded amount may be slightly less than your original purchase.

  8. Use of Images
By participating in this training, you consent to the Company’s use of your images (photos, videos, audio) in accordance with the terms outlined in Section [C]. Please refer to Section [C] for full details.

  9. Accidents and Injuries
You acknowledge that you engage in training activities at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety. Please review Clause 3 of Section [C] for detailed information on consent, waiver, and release of liability.

10. Important Note for Overseas Participants

Please do not book non-refundable or non-changeable flights before 24 September 2025. The Drum Circle Facilitation           Training is scheduled for 24–26 October 2025; however, the final decision will be made around 23 September based on

registrations. Thank you for your understanding.

  2. We reserve the right to decline any registration, refuse entry, or remove any Participant at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.

  3. By submitting booking forms, you consent to be added to our mailing list for updates. You may unsubscribe at any time. We will not share your personal information with third parties.

  4. Certain facilitation training programmes are subject to additional specific terms and conditions as outlined in Section [A] above. In the event of any conflict, the terms in Section [A] shall take precedence.

[C] CONSENT, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

  1. By booking or registering for any of the Company's Activities, you, the Participants, and your associates, parents, or guardians give consent to the Company to use your images—including photographs, videos, and audio recordings (collectively, "Images")—in all formats and media. These may be used for staff training, quality evaluation, client references, marketing, promotion, and development by the Company and its affiliates.

  2. You release and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and all persons involved in the Activities from any liability related to the publication or use of such Images.

  3. Furthermore, you release the Company, its affiliates, and all persons involved in the Activities from any liability for injury, accident, illness, death, or loss/damage to personal belongings occurring before, during, or after participation in the Activities. Your safety and well-being are your responsibility. You must participate only within your physical capabilities. Parents, caregivers, and adult members are responsible for supervising and caring for their children at all times.

  4. Your consent to these terms is a condition and prerequisite for participation in all Company Activities, regardless of format.

[D] DISCOUNT COUPONS/VOUCHERS

  1. Coupons/Vouchers ("Coupons") issued by us are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

  2. Coupons are valid for a limited time as specified.

  3. Coupons can be used for our direct services (i.e., parties, team building, school programmes, trainings).

  4. Coupons cannot be used for ticketed events ordered through third-party companies or ticketing platforms. (i.e., Art-Mate, URBTIX, Eventbrite, Facebook, etc.).

[E] LOSS/DAMAGE OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

  1. If any equipment provided by the Company is lost, damaged, or broken due to the actions of the client or their associates, we will charge for repair or replacement costs. This applies to all rented or loaned instruments at your event or class.

[F] DELIVERY OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS and ADDITIONAL CHARGES

  1. Our equipment is delivered using multiple trolleys. Additional fees may apply for venues that are hard to access, such as locations upstairs without lifts, narrow lifts (under 70 cm), staircases before lifts or entrances, rooftops only reachable by stairs, or similar obstacles.

  2. The Company will determine any extra charges after reviewing information you provide about the venue (e.g., photos or videos).

  3. Please inform us of any access difficulties before invoicing. If unforeseen access issues arise on the event day, we reserve the right to charge an extra fee payable immediately

[G] KIDS CLASS/PROGRAMME

  1. For facilitation training programmes, please see Section A for specific weather and scheduling policies; these take precedence over general policies.

  2. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and confirmed only upon receipt of payment and our confirmation via email or WhatsApp within 3 days.

  3. If a class or event is full, you will be placed on a waiting list and notified when a spot is available.

  4. Classes or events may be cancelled if they do not meet the minimum number of participants stated on the registration form. In this case, you will receive a full refund.

  5. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing and are subject to a non-refundable HK$200 administration fee per person/child.

  6. If a teacher or presenter is unavailable, a substitute or make-up class may be provided at the Company’s discretion.

  7. No refunds or make-up classes are given for missed sessions.

  8. All classes and events are conducted in English unless otherwise specified.

  9. Babies under 8 months who can share a seat with a parent/carer attend ticketed events free of charge.

  10. For parties exceeding the package participant limits, an additional charge applies: HK$200 per extra person (child or adult)  (each provided with a drum and seat). Final participant numbers must be confirmed to us at least 48 hours before the event.

  11. In events beyond our control—such as pandemics or civil unrest—the Company may switch to online or alternative programmes without refund, credit, or fee transfer. If government restrictions apply, activities will run fully online for the originally scheduled duration.

  12. Classes and events will be cancelled if Typhoon Signal 8 or above, or Black Rain Warning, is hoisted at the following times:
    8:00 AM for morning sessions
    12:00 PM for afternoon sessions
    3:00 PM for evening sessions
For sessions in school premises, the schools’ weather policies apply and updates will be emailed. No refunds, make-up classes, or credits will be offered for weather cancellations.

[H] WEATHER

  1. We follow the adverse weather policies of venues and organisers during events (see "Adverse Weather Arrangements").

  2. However, because the Company’s musical instruments are delicate and easily damaged by rain, the Company reserves the right to decide when to move equipment to a covered area or to pause or end the event early to protect them. Clients agree to assist in moving our equipment if needed.

All terms and conditions written on this page apply to our classes, programmes, seminars, and events.

You fully understand that your consent to all the above is given as a condition and prerequisite to your attendance and participation at every and all of our Activities of all kinds of formats.

Please contact us if you have any questions or need further clarification.
