Today, many women and girls are actively involved in the world of drumming, a realm that was previously dominated by males. Welcome to the Hong Kong Drum Jam. This month, we are celebrating International Women's Day with extra positive drumbeats!

Join us and let loose at the ultimate community music event that brings people together through the joy of drumming, singing, and dancing.

Drum Jam is an interactive music-making program designed for all levels, from beginners to experienced musicians.

Our special guest performers include Mey Jen and her group of belly dancers from Oasis Dance Centre, Middle Eastern drum teacher Rob Rushton, and equal opportunity advocate Devi Novianti. Expect a blend of cultural beauty, empowering messages, and excitement!

The proven benefits of group drumming include stress relief, strengthening the immune system, and release of endorphins (happy hormone).

Drums and percussion instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have one!

The session will be facilitated by Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga and the Drum-Jam Team (https://www.drum-jam.com/about).

如今，許多婦女和女孩積極參與鼓樂世界，這個領域以前由男性主導。歡迎來到香港鼓樂節。這個月，我們將以更積極的鼓聲慶祝國際婦女節！

在《齊鼓樂》中盡情發揮—— 透過打鼓、唱歌和跳舞的歡樂，這個終極社區音樂項目將把我們連繫。

《齊鼓樂》是個互動式音樂創作活動企劃，讓不同音樂程度的人一同享受音樂。

我們的特別表演嘉賓包括來自綠洲舞蹈中心的 Mey Jen 和她的肚皮舞團、中東鼓老師 Rob Rushton 以及平等機會倡導者 Devi Novianti。期待文化之美、賦權訊息和興奮的融合！

團體打鼓能夠減壓、増強免疫力，以及釋放出內啡肽。（快樂的荷爾蒙）

我們會提供各種鼓類和敲擊樂，但也歡迎你帶備自己的敲擊樂器！
