Community Drum Jam is a monthly opportunity to make music on a variety of drums and percussion instruments in a group. Come along: beat the stress, make new friends and get into your GROOVE!

 

No experience needed. Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga and the Drum-Jam Team will guide you through an exciting rhythmical journey. Drums and percussion instruments are provided, and feel free to bring your own instruments!  

This month's theme is Celebration of Feminine, marking International Women's Day (8th March) and the Japanese Girls' Festival (3rd March). The traits associated with femininity vary across societies however, gentleness, empathy, humility, and sensitivity may come to many of our minds while we also see incredible strength, leadership and achievements made by many women.   

For this Feminine-themed drum jam, a dancer extraordinaire and a grass-roots change-maker Emmy Abir will be our special guest. So be ready to move to the uplifting drum beats, find your own personal rhythms for healing and empowerment, make new friends and have loads of FUN!

 

Seating is first-come, first-served, so come early to secure your seat and drum!

來吧，以鼓樂舒緩壓力，探索自己獨有的節奏，以鼓會友！ 一同「齊鼓樂」！ 

 

無需經驗。 日本敲擊樂手 增永紅實 和齊鼓樂團隊將帶領你參與一個充滿動感的旅程。我們會為參加者提供非洲鼓和各類敲擊樂器，也可以自備樂器。  

為慶祝國際婦女節（3月8日）和日本女兒節（3月3日），這個月的主題是 Celebration of Feminine。女性特質在不同的社會文化中各不一樣，但我們都能看到女性的溫柔，同理心，謙遜和感性賦予她們不可思議的能力，領導才能和成就。
