Harshil Filippo Chiostri is a VMC-Certified Global Trainer based in Italy. In 2008, after discovering and being deeply touched by Arthur Hull’s drum circle facilitation method, he founded "Drum Circle Spirit," devoted to building community and fostering connection through rhythm. Since then, Harshil has been facilitating drum circles and nurturing a strong sense of belonging in Italy.
Since becoming a global trainer in 2017, he has led 26 drum circle trainings: 22 three-day Basic Facilitation Trainings and 4 six-day Advanced Trainings across the country. He recently co-trained with fellow VMC Global Trainer John Fitzgerald in Costa Rica. His upcoming training in Hong Kong will be his first time teaching in Asia.
Harshil has a lasting passion for rhythm and musical expression, playing drums, piano, and didgeridoo. Alongside drum circle facilitation, he has developed a keen interest in personal growth and well-being. Since 2012, he has been co-director of Podere Amarti, a residential retreat center in the Tuscan countryside focused on meditation and the expansion of human potential. There, he leads monthly drum circles and teaches meditation in retreats that blend music, rhythm, and self-discovery.
In addition to his drum circle work, Harshil is trained in systemic and family constellations, trauma healing, and life coaching. He integrates these modalities into his sessions to support personal and collective well-being. His inclusive and straightforward facilitation style is known for being warm, fun, and welcoming to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Harshil is committed to creating holistic and inspirational experiences that encourage participation, creativity, and genuine human connection.
